Unnao. The National Service Scheme (NSS) Foundation Day celebrations were held at Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, where outstanding volunteers were honored with the Karmaveer Award, with our college student Riya Gautam securing third place. The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit with the highest performance was awarded the Swami Vivekananda Award, with the DSN College, Unnao unit securing first place. Dr. Rachna Trivedi, the unit in-charge, received the award on behalf of the college.

In the same sequence, six students from Uttar Pradesh were selected from 27 students across the country for Mission Shakti 5.0 in the Nirala Auditorium. These six students are DSN students.  The college is from Unnao whose students namely Diksha Awasthi, Manisha Yadav, Tanvi Tiwari, Pratiksha Awasthi, Anshika Sharma Prachi Dwivedi were honored by the District Magistrate in a grand ceremony. Mission Shakti in-charge Dr. Geeta Srivastava congratulated the honored students and stressed on making Mission Shakti 5.0 successful by following the guidelines set by the government in future. Lt. (Dr.) Vipin Singh NCC (ANO) said that all these students (who are also SCC cadets) have brought laurels to the college in NCC camps, training programs set by the government. College Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Srivastava congratulated all the honored students and wished them a bright future.
